For me, leadership starts with people, not process. I spend time understanding who my team members are, where their strengths lie, and what are the ambitions. Knowing what motivates them and where they want to grow is not just thoughtful, it is purposeful. It’s a genuine approach that builds trust, establishes partnerships, and builds momentum.

As humans we are always learning, adapting and evolving — finding better ways to communicate, collaborate, and connect on a deeper level with the people around us! As I thought about this more, I realized what I always believed to be obvious is unfortunately, not the norm as I would soon come to find out. Be yourself, be who you are, be more than just available to others — take time to learn more about the people you spend time with every day. It starts with listening!

Most organizations still treat Product Ops as a reporting layer — but the truth is, the function has already evolved into something much more strategic. Over the years, I’ve come to think of this as a Product Investment Execution Cadence — or simply, PIE Cadence. PIE isn’t a role or a dashboard. It’s an informed and modern product development operating model — a living rhythm that connects strategy, capacity, and monetization through continuous, data-driven decision making.
